FY2025 — Consultation Support for Teenagers Facing Difficulties
Project Purpose
To strengthen the support system for students identified by schools as facing difficulties and needing connections to community support organizations, by building regional support networks and providing proactive outreach consultation.
Activities
- Upon request from schools, provide information and advice, and with the consent of students and parents, conduct direct interviews to deliver necessary support
- Outreach consultation workers regularly visit schools to share information about students who need support
- Simultaneously build networks with community support organizations

- Livelihood Regular food delivery through partnerships with food banks
- Safe spaces Partnerships with community gathering places, learning classrooms, local events, and volunteer activities
- Employment Connecting to Regional Youth Support Stations when post-graduation employment is not secured
- Foreign nationals Support for obtaining residency status through partnerships with bar associations and administrative scrivener associations

This project is carried out by ME-net (Certified NPO Multicultural Education Network Kanagawa) in collaboration with the Prefectural Livelihood Support Division, School Support Division, and High School Education Division, through the FY2025 Kanagawa Voluntary Activity Promotion Fund 21 collaborative project "Consultation Support for Teenagers Facing Difficulties."
