What is Altervoice?

As a gathering place for young people with foreign connections, we hold Altervoice Exchange Meetings and Altervoice Camps every year.

Altervoice Exchange Meeting

Born from the voices of young people who want to connect with peers with foreign connections outside of school. A place to share dreams and anxieties and meet others in similar circumstances.

Altervoice Camp

A two-day, one-night retreat where participants discuss their identities, cook together, and think about their futures.

Altervoice World Speech

Started in FY2025, this speech event features junior high and high school students with foreign connections, as well as alumni. Part 1 features themed speeches, and Part 2 features a panel discussion.

Altervoice Festa (No longer held)

Held until 2019 at Shonan Tsuka YMCA. An event where young people shared their cultures through multicultural-themed stage performances and workshops.
