Started in 2003, the Kanagawa Foreign Education Counseling service addresses diverse educational concerns of children with foreign connections, many of which require interpreters. Consultation topics include visa status, Japanese language acquisition, school problems, admission counseling, and developmental issues. Education professionals serve as counselors, functioning as a specialized consultation venue.
