Public High School Enrollment Guidebook

Started in 2006, this project is now produced in collaboration with the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education. Information about high school types, entrance exam systems, and tuition is translated into 10 languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Tagalog, Korean, Thai, Cambodian, Nepali, Vietnamese) and distributed as booklets to all public junior high schools and public facilities in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The FY2026 edition (for students seeking enrollment in FY2026) of the "Public High School Enrollment Guidebook" (multilingual versions) is now available. Two types of guidebooks are published:

  1. All pages in translated language only → Download from ME-net's website (language boxes below).
  2. Japanese/translated language side-by-side → Available on the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education website.
