High School Admission Guidance

About High School Admission Guidance

The High School Admission Guidance was first implemented nationwide in 1995 and is one of ME-net's flagship programs. Post-compulsory education pathways for children with foreign connections are diverse and complex. Due to language barriers and differences from their home countries, both children and parents often struggle to understand the system, leading to difficult situations. This program provides "admission counseling sessions" (High School Admission Guidance) at locations throughout the prefecture, with interpreters and translated materials. Since 2011, it has been a collaborative project between the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education and ME-net.
